Art Camp

(ages 3-10 yrs.)

(This camp will divide into 2 groups for art experiences-older and younger. Children will come together for playtime, meeting, lunch and afternoon story & snack.)

The POWER OF LIGHT AND SHADOW will fuel and fill our days discovering how to identify and use them in our art to make our work come alive! Each day we will feature a famous artist and see how they used these powerful tools in their painting. We will learn new art words and improve our skills. Like last year, our HIGHLIGHT (One of the art words we will learn) will be an exciting art show on the pavilion, showcasing all the work we created during the week! 

Some activities include:

• Transforming our flat drawings as they come to life using light and shadow

• Exploring the farm for light and shadows in nature

• Giant shadow drawings

• Lots of play on our natural playground and around the farm
